Measure & Make

LEGAL

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Measure & Make Group website. They are about the website itself; paid work is always governed by a separate written agreement.

Effective September 29, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to the website only.

2. The website is informational

This site describes what Measure & Make Group does, the process it follows, and its work, each project labeled as delivered, in progress, or proposed. It is provided for general information. Nothing on it is professional, legal, financial, or technical advice for your particular situation, and nothing on it is an offer to enter into a contract.

Descriptions of past work state what was built and where it stands. They are not a promise of any particular outcome for another organization.

3. Project inquiries

The email, text, and call options on our Start a Project page are an invitation to tell us about your organization and what you are trying to build. Please send only information you are free to share, and keep confidential material out of your messages until there is an agreement in place that covers it.

4. An inquiry does not create a client relationship

Contacting us, and our replying, does not by itself create a client relationship, a contract, or any obligation to perform work. Conversations before an agreement is signed are exploratory, and neither side is committed by them.

5. Paid work is governed by a separate written agreement

Any engagement is defined in a separate written agreement covering scope, deliverables, timeline, fees, ownership, confidentiality, and termination. That agreement governs the work. Where it and these website terms differ, that agreement controls for the work it describes.

6. We may decline an inquiry

We cannot take on every project, and we do not accept every inquiry. We may decline for reasons of fit, capacity, timing, or conflict, and we are not obliged to give a reason. Declining an inquiry says nothing about the merit of your organization or its work.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this site — its text, layout, design, code, and the Measure & Make Group name and marks — belongs to Measure & Make Group or is used with permission, and is protected by applicable law. The Measure & Make Group name and marks are not registered trademarks, and nothing here claims that they are.

Names, marks, screenshots, and other material belonging to the organizations described in our work remain theirs, and appear here with their knowledge and for the purpose of describing that work.

Ownership of anything created for a client is addressed in that client's written agreement, not by these terms.

8. Permitted use of this website

You may read these pages, share links to them, and print or save a copy for your own reference or to discuss internally. Quoting a short passage with attribution is fine.

9. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, republish, or resell substantial parts of this site as your own material.
  • Use the Measure & Make Group name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation that does not exist.
  • Send false, misleading, or automated messages through the contact options on this site.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its server, its records, or any connected system.
  • Scrape, probe, overload, or disrupt the site or the infrastructure it runs on.
  • Upload or transmit anything unlawful, infringing, or malicious.
  • Use the site in violation of applicable law.

10. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and to state only what we can verify, but content may become out of date, and we may change, add, or remove pages at any time without notice.

The site is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and maintenance, hosting incidents, or configuration changes may make it temporarily unavailable.

11. Third-party links and services

This site links to other organizations' websites and relies on third-party services to operate, including the hosting and communication services described in our Privacy Policy. Those sites and services are outside our control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Measure & Make Group will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of your use of this website — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability for work performed under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this section.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and the version published here is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes arising from your use of this website are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to venue there.

16. How to reach us
