Quentin Gause — Beyond the Game
A home of his own, for a life that runs well beyond the game.
Quentin Gause's work spans professional football, company building, a book and a speaking platform. We gave it one independent home: the IAMQG website and a branded digital business card, designed and built by Measure & Make and managed by us today.
Live on its current, temporary address. Moving it to his own domain is the next phase.

The Client
Quentin Gause
Quentin Gause is a former NFL linebacker, the co-founder and CEO of Rizewell, the author of The Assignment, the founder of The Malchut Impact Collective, and a keynote speaker. Each is a real, public part of his work, and each speaks to a different audience.
His work, under its own names
- Former NFL linebacker
- Co-founder and CEO, Rizewell
- Author, The Assignment
- Founder, The Malchut Impact Collective
- Keynote speaker
Rizewell and The Malchut Impact Collective are Quentin's own organizations, each with its own identity. They are not Measure & Make clients, and Measure & Make had no part in founding them, in writing his book, or in his playing career.
The Challenge
Several professional identities, and no home of his own.
Quentin's previous website was a single speaking page hosted under Rizewell's domain. It presented one role to one audience, and it tied his personal identity to one company.
The work was to create an independent brand experience that makes his wide-ranging work clear to event organizers, readers, media and partners, while keeping each venture's corporate identity intact.
Design Approach
An identity of his own, built from what was already his.
Truth before design
Every fact on the site was traced to a source before it was written. Anything that could not be sourced was left out or sent to Quentin to confirm.
His mark, refined
The brand is expressed through Quentin's existing QG monogram, redrawn as a precise vector from his original artwork, with a restrained palette of charcoal, warm bone and one gold accent.
Editorial, not promotional
Large serif type, black-and-white portraiture and generous space give the site the pace of a feature story rather than a sales page.
Every venture under its own name
Rizewell and The Malchut Impact Collective appear under their own names and link to their own sites. Neither brand is restyled to match his.
First Visit
A logo-driven opening.
On a visitor's first page, the two halves of the QG mark meet along the mark's own diagonal, a gold rule draws beneath it and his name settles before the page appears. It plays once per visit, never blocks the page, and is skipped entirely for visitors who prefer reduced motion.

Information Architecture
A clear way in for every audience.
The site is organized around what each visitor comes for, so an event organizer, a reader and a journalist each find their part of his work directly.
Speaking
Signature topics, formats and a booking inquiry for event organizers.
The Assignment
The book and its message, where to buy it, and book events and group orders.
Ventures
Rizewell, The Malchut Impact Collective and his earlier work, each under its own name.
Media
The speaker reel, features and events, and press resources for hosts and journalists.
Connect
Inquiries routed by purpose: speaking, media, partnerships, book events and community.
About
His story told in chapters, from Rochester to the NFL to the companies and the book that followed.

Designed for the Phone
The same story, composed for a small screen.
Many people meet Quentin's site on a phone, after a talk or an introduction. Every page is laid out for the phone as deliberately as for the desktop, and was reviewed at widths down to the narrowest phones in common use.

Professional Connectivity
A digital business card in the same identity.
Alongside the website, we built Quentin a branded digital business card: a mobile profile that people open from a QR code, save to their contacts in one tap, or share from their own phone.
It lives on his site, in the same identity, and is updated along with it.
- A mobile profile in his brand
- A scannable QR code, on screen and print‑ready
- One-tap contact download
- His website, social profiles and ventures in one place
- The same identity as the rest of the site

Still being confirmed
- Where each kind of inquiry is delivered. Until that is settled, the site's forms say plainly that they open the visitor's own email app.
- Search-engine indexing, which stays off until the official launch.
- The move from the temporary address to his own domain.
Next Phase
From a temporary address to his own domain.
The site is ready to move to a custom domain. When it does, the address, the card's QR code and search indexing change together, and Measure & Make continues to manage his content updates.
