Living Water Network
Young Adults Network (YAN) Digital Platform
A national, multi-city mini-site within the Living Water Network platform connecting young-adult ministries across cities, launched with Atlanta as the founding hub and built to expand honestly, city by city, without redesign.
www.lwnetwork.org/yanThe Challenge
Living Water Network wanted to connect young-adult ministries across multiple cities under one platform, without a heavy new backend, and without ever presenting an unlaunched city as though it were fully active.
Our Approach
We built it inside the Living Water Network site rather than as a separate system, with one source of truth for every city — its name, status, tagline and imagery — so a new city launches clearly labeled as new (for example, "New Hub — Join the Launch Team") instead of being presented as fully active. Every page works whether a city's content is complete or just beginning. Technical detail: part of the same Next.js application as lwnetwork.org, with no new backend or content-management system.
What We Built
A YAN-branded national landing page with a city chooser; Atlanta live as the founding hub, with New York City, Los Angeles and Phoenix built as additional hubs; sections for a ministry directory (with a map view and an add-your-group form), events (registration, waitlist and calendar export), leader spotlights and nominations, prayer requests (private by default), resources, stories shared with explicit consent, a six-pathway Join flow and newsletter sign-up; and a review panel where every public submission waits for manual approval.
Where It Stands
Live production platform; ongoing city-by-city content growth
